Guess Who's Back, Back Again

After a lengthy two week stretch of time consuming work and laziness combined I'm back to forecast week 10 in the NFL. We've been hit and miss all year but I mean, it's fun nevertheless. Thus, here are my week 10 Love-hate picks that will probably fall down the drain, but I still do my best.

The Love List:

QB- Cam Newton, CAR
Yes, it's San Francisco's Defense. Yes, San Fran is off a bye. Yes, Newton has struggled against them in the past. But with the emergence of a consistent ground game between DeAngelo Williams and The Vulture of the Century, Mike Tolbert keeping the 49ers D in check, Newton's Value will be there. Look for a good game outta Cam.

QB- Jay Cutler, CHI
Detroit's defense is just Turrible. If Cutler doesn't end up starting, McCown is a viable option as his backup. Play em!

QB- Philip Rivers, SD
Denver, do you even defend bro?

QB- EJ Manuel, BUF
This may or may not be total fandom bias 101 but the Bills offense looked pretty good with Thad Lewis under center, and even had bright moments last week with Jeff Tuel leading the way against a good Kansas City Defense. Pittsburgh isn't what they used to be. With Spiller looking 100% finally and Jackson being very good all year long Manuel will have the support he needs to have a solid game.

RB- CJ Spiller/ Fred Jackson, BUF
The Steelers D gives up the second most fantasy points to running backs. Start start start start

RB- Reggie Bush, DET
The last time Chicago and Detroit played Bush made that defense look foolish, gashing em for 139 yards on the ground and a touchdown, not to mention the 4 catches he added for 34 yards. He likes playing The bears, another team who's D just isn't what it used to be.

RB- Danny Woodhead, SD
Denver's Defense is so bad that anyone who catches passes consistently for San Diego should have a field day. Cue Woodhead.

RB- CJ2K, TEN
FINALLY. If you were patient with him until last week such as myself give yourself a pat on the back, as he went off for 150 yards and two TD's. It's been a long time coming and with Jacksonville being this week's opponent look for Johnson to run wild once again.

WR- Hakeem Nicks, NYG
He's boom or bust out in every definition of the phrase, but Oakland represents a very favorable matchup for the receiver this weekend.

WR- Victor Cruz, NYG
See Nicks, Hakeem

WR- Jordy Nelson, GB
Everyone makes a big deal out of Rodgers affecting Nelson's potential but I don't see it. He's a damn good receiver and with James jones not being 100%, Cobb being out, Finley being out, and Eddie Lacy being around to support Seneca Wallace with a reliable run game, I think Nelson serves as a crutch for Wallace this weekend against a 32nd ranked Philadelphia pass defense.

WR- Keenan Allen
Denvers D, the 104 YPG average since week 5, the obvious number 1 in San Diego, 8 red zone targets since week 5. Just a few reasons.

WR- Antonio Brown, PIT
Let's just say... the Bills have a thing for giving up some numbers to opposing wide receivers.

TE- Jimmy Graham, NO
DUH. But hold on, here's a couple interesting stats. He's got 10 TD's in 7 games played, which puts him on pace for 22. One off the NFL record, and 5 more than the record for Tight Ends. He also averages 22 points a game (PPR), which accounts for the 0 he got when he missed a game, and the best thing? He's projected for 30 this week.
A tight end, projected for 30. WUT. By the way, Dallas doesn't have a defense

TE- Antonio Gates, SD
Just add this guy to the list of Chargers I love this week. But really.

D/ST- Tennessee
They've got everything they could ask for in a Jags team that's missing Justin Blackmon. Look for a doozie out them this week.

The Hate List:

QB- Colin Kaepernick, SF
Hate to say it about one of my favorite players, But Carolina's D is mad good. Sorry Copernicus, but you're gonna have struggles this week.

QB- Matt Ryan, ATL
He continues to struggle with the absence of Julio Jones and Roddy White's Lack of production is really hindering Ryan. Benchin Ryan fo dayz.

QB- Ben Roethlisberger, PIT.
Two of the three times the Bills played AFC North opponents this year they've come up with 3 picks and 5 picks, respectively. The Steelers also have 5, count em, 5 linemen on the injury list this week. The Bills D will give up yards but sacks and turnovers are a very real danger for Roethlisberger this week.

RB- Giovani Bernard, CIN
He's hurt and still doesn't have the workload that you'd want. Against a good ravens run D he's not the best option.

RB- Mike Tolbert, CAR
He's scored in 4 straight but against the 49ers defense on Sunday I'm led to believe that will come to an end.

WR- Cecil Shorts III, JAC
My apologies to Anthone Willis, but I just can't see him having that good of a game in Tennessee this week. Blackmon is gone, leaving Shorts as Public enemy number one. McCourty and Vernen will have their sights on him all game long.

WR- Marques Colston, NO
The name means nothing any more. With the emergence of Kenny Stills and the return of Lance Moore, the only Saints receiver worth a start now is their tight end. The lack of production from this guy is killing me!

WR- Stevie Johnson, BUF
I think he'll have an average game don't get me wrong, but I see the Bills starting to drift towards Robert Woods as the favorite target. And with a healthy dose of Ike Taylor and Troy Polamalu this week, Johnson can't be considered a top 20 play

WR- Larry Fitzgerald, ARI
In real life you want him on your team. Your fantasy team? not so much. Against the top-ranked Houston pass defense?
Forget about it.

TE- Greg Olsen, CAR
That 49ers D. So stingy against tight ends doe.

D/ST- SD
They Play Denver, Simple.

D/ST- GB
The Packers D has the fewest interceptions all year. And the Philly offense has look efficient behind Foles, yielding an average of -3 points to opposing defenses this year since he took over under center.

That's all for this week's list, best of luck and happy footballing! (it's a verb, trust me.)
